A crisis Gwanga Mujje meeting was called Sunday September 13th at the Best Western Hotel in Waltham to discuss the violence and loss of life that took place in the Buganda Kingdom following the events of 10-12 September in which his royal highness Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II was blocked from visiting Kayunga district by the central government. What ensued was a standoff between the Buganda Government and the Central Government that resulted in a loss of 24 lives. Several Ugandans in the Massachusetts area showed up in large numbers in support of their Kabaka. UNAA Times brings you the sunday meeting in pictures that was moderated by the interim Gwanga Mujje Chairman Mr. John Mayanja. Also included are images from the Saturday’s concert by renown artist Mesach Semakula who also dedicated several songs to his countrymen who had perished as result of the violence in Kampala.
