We welcome nominations from Ugandan youth all over the world aged 18years to 35 years of age who have made outstanding contribution in the areas of business leadership and development as well as promoted a spirit of entrepreneurship. Nominations started on 10th May 2010 and close on 12th June 2010. Young people can self nominate or be nominated by someone who recognizes their achievements in the Eleven (11) different categories
YAA is an initiative designed to support young entrepreneurs, showcase their talent, and rewards the excellence and innovation with which they employ in the execution of their work. By promoting innovation, job creation and alternative skills development, we (Tetea Uganda and UNCCI) hope through YAA, to address the pressing issue of unemployment.
The initiative is also supported by The New Vision, NTV Uganda, MTN Uganda, UBC, Threeways shipping Group, Touch FM, Cineplex Cinema, GTZ, NBS, Kensington, African Alliance, Sanyu FM, White showmans, National Housing & Constructions Co., National Youth Council, and more are still coming on board to support the initiative.
