By Frank Musisi ~ Dear Community Members and friends, It with deep sorrow that I announce the death of Mr. Evans Kasozi of Seattle, Washington who died on Saturday, 30th July 2011.
The death of Mr. Kasozi has touched many and especially those who knew him as a strong supporter of Buganda Kingdom and Ssaabasajja Kabaka. Others who knew him were left speechless because a month ago, Mr. Kasozi felt abdominal pain and drove himself to the hospital for checkup.
Upon examination by the doctors, Mr. Kasozi was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer! The doctors immediately prescribed Chemotherapy since the disease was at an advanced stage.
He received the treatment and last week the community was in the process of moving him from the hospital to the Hospice in Seattle, WA. But before he was discharged from the hospital Mr. Kasozi passed away on Saturday, 30th July 2011. Mr. Kasozi is survived by two daughters. May his Soul Rest in Eternal Peace!
The Seattle community is in the process of sending the remains back home to Uganda for burial.
