We welcome all our members from over 100 countries to join us in this celebration.
We are instituting an Art and Visual Technology Scholarship Program to mark the progress we have made since our inception in 2008.
“This Scholarship will be Awarded to the winner of an Art Competition that will be taking place every 3 months to match the Ending and Beginning of the School Terms in Uganda.”
The Winner will receive a full terms scholarship of up to UG Shs 800,000 /-
The 1st and 2nd Runner Ups will receive a recognition Award and have their Art listed on Our Wall of Art Recognition and will be Eligible to enter the Next Terms Art Competition.
The Winner will not be Eligible to Enter in the Next Terms Art Competition, but will be Added to the Judging Panel and Will be Eligible to enter the 2nd Art Competition following the one he or she won.
The Rules of the competition:
Participants Must Show proof of School Registration and Provide Letter from their Art Department Head, provide a Contact Phone Number and the School’s Finance Department Phone Number.
Participants must provide proof of Original Sketch, Half Way Point of the Art Piece and the completed Entry.
Families Living in the Diaspora are welcome to participate, but the Fees only apply to students who are living and studying in Uganda.
The Focus of this Year’s Art Competition is: Depicting the Impact of Technology on the day to day lives of Ugandans.
The Final Entry can be a painting, print, sculputure, drawing, 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional
